Things I build.
I make software you can actually open and use — games, tools, and the occasional thing nobody asked for. I like problems where the interesting part is the plumbing, and I would rather ship something small that runs than describe something large that does not.
CodeCraft
Learn Java inside Minecraft. A Fabric mod that puts a real code editor in the game window and compiles what you write at runtime, then runs it against the world you are standing in. Write a loop, hit Run, watch a tower go up in front of you. Eighteen lessons, from what a variable is through to streams and recursion.
Crossover
Draft
A party football game for a small group of friends. A category is drawn — Animals, Pokémon, Rappers — and everyone fields an XI out of it: elephant at centre back, cheetah on the wing, octopus in goal. Nobody sees anyone else's picks, and if two of you reach for the same thing then nobody gets it. Then an AI judge rates every pick against its position and the chemistry of the eleven, and those ratings feed a deterministic match engine that plays the game out minute by minute.
